Effective Date: 1 January 2025 Last Updated: 1 March 2026 Dispatch: Guangzhou, China

This Shipping Policy applies to all B2B orders placed with LookCarShow. We ship worldwide from our facility in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China using internationally recognized freight carriers. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Production and Dispatch Lead Times

1.1 In-Stock Catalog Items

For products currently in stock in our Guangzhou warehouse, orders are processed and ready for dispatch within 3–5 business days after receipt of full payment or agreed deposit and signed purchase order.

1.2 Made-to-Order Items

Products not held in inventory (including some low-volume chassis SKUs) require additional production time. Standard production lead time is 7–14 business days. We confirm the specific lead time in your order quotation.

1.3 Custom / Private-Label Orders

Custom projects involve an additional engineering and tooling phase. Typical timelines:

  • Sample production: 14–21 business days after spec approval
  • Mass production (post-sample approval): 15–25 business days depending on volume

All custom timelines are confirmed in writing in the project quotation and subject to revision only where force majeure events apply.

3. Freight Partners

We work with the following internationally recognised freight carriers, selected based on order size, destination, and urgency:

  • Express Courier: DHL Express, FedEx International Priority, UPS Worldwide Express
  • Economy Courier: SF International, PostNL, Yanwen
  • Sea Freight: Cosco, MSC, Evergreen — via appointed freight forwarder
  • Air Freight: Available for urgent large-volume orders not suitable for express courier

Where the buyer has a preferred carrier account, they may advise us of their account number to use for that shipment. We will use our best efforts to accommodate the request, subject to the carrier's coverage to our dispatch location.

4. Freight Costs

Freight costs are calculated at the time of order quotation based on:

  • Actual weight and volumetric (dimensional) weight of the shipment
  • Origin–destination routing
  • Selected service level (express vs. economy vs. sea)
  • Current carrier fuel surcharge

Freight charges are itemised separately on each proforma invoice. For repeat orders with established partners, we can offer freight consolidation options to reduce per-unit shipping cost.

5. Incoterms & Risk Transfer

The default incoterm for all LookCarShow shipments is FOB Guangzhou. Alternative Incoterms are available upon request and must be agreed in writing before order confirmation:

FOB — Free On Board (Default)

Risk transfers to buyer when goods are loaded onto the vessel or aircraft at Guangzhou. Buyer is responsible for main carriage freight and insurance from this point.

EXW — Ex Works

Risk transfers when goods are made available at our Guangzhou facility. Buyer or buyer's agent handles all export formalities and onward transport.

CIF — Cost, Insurance, Freight

We cover main carriage and marine insurance to the named destination port. Risk transfers when goods are loaded at origin. Available for sea shipments to major ports.

DDP — Delivered Duty Paid

We manage all export and import formalities and deliver goods to buyer's named address, duties paid. Available in selected markets — Inquire for eligibility and pricing.

6. Packaging Standards

LookCarShow applies consistent multi-layer protective packaging to all shipments to minimize in-transit damage risk:

  • Inner wrap: Individual foam sleeve and bubble wrap for each assembly
  • Inner box: Rigid corrugated inner box per unit with foam corner inserts
  • Outer carton: Double-wall corrugated outer carton for multi-unit shipments
  • Strapping: PP strap banding for sea freight pallets
  • Custom packaging: Private-label clients may specify branded boxes — additional lead time applies

Our packaging has achieved a documented in-transit damage rate of under 0.5% across all Express courier shipments.

7. Customs and Export Documentation

LookCarShow provides the following export documentation as standard with every shipment:

  • Commercial Invoice: Itemised with HS codes, unit values, and total declared value
  • Packing List: Detailed by carton with weights and dimensions
  • Bill of Lading (sea) / Air Waybill (air/express): Provided as applicable
  • Certificate of Origin: Available upon request (additional cost may apply)
  • CE or other declarations: Available for applicable products upon advance request

Buyers are responsible for all import duties, customs fees, VAT, and local compliance requirements in the destination country. LookCarShow will provide any additional documentation within our control to assist with customs clearance but makes no representation regarding import classification or duty rates.

8. Shipment Tracking

Upon dispatch, we provide the tracking number and carrier name via email and/or WhatsApp. For express courier shipments, real-time tracking is available directly on the carrier's website. For sea freight, we provide the booking number and estimated time of arrival (ETA) at the destination port.

For large or ongoing supply partnerships, we can configure automated dispatch notifications. Please discuss with your trade account manager.

9. Delays and Force Majeure

LookCarShow is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • Customs clearance holds or inspections by destination country authorities
  • Carrier service disruptions, port congestion, or industrial action
  • Natural disasters, pandemic events, or government-mandated restrictions
  • Incorrect or incomplete recipient address or contact information provided by the buyer
  • Bank delays in payment processing affecting dispatch timing

We will communicate any known shipping delays promptly and work with the buyer and carrier to resolve the situation as efficiently as possible.
